Neurovascular Complexity Tailored to Your Research
MIMETAS’ BBB models are comprised of primary brain endothelium with tight junction expression, and vascular flow. Additional aspects of the human neurovascular unit are added through co-culture with astrocytes, pericytes, and neurons. These features allow analysis of drug permeability, barrier disruption, and neuroinflammation.
